I am Angela Maina (Angie Ladie), currently living in New York but originally from Kenya, East Africa. I am a former pageant queen, Miss Africa New York, where I represented my beloved country, Kenya in 2011-12 in Staten Island, NY. I love fashion, style, travelling and Nursing and I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with you. I believe first impressions last longer therefore how we present ourselves speak louder about who we are before we utter a word.  I enjoy traveling because it gives me different perspectives about life by interacting with the people around me or just by simply observing. Nursing is my love and am super blessed to be of help especially when someone is at their lowest when it comes to their general health.

I believe in this day and age we ought to be role models that lacked in the prior generations so that the upcoming generations can be better and go further than we will. I aspire to be that voice that will tell that young person that you can do everything you put your mind to and your circumstances do not matter. All you need is to put God first, dream, believe, work hard and achieve your dreams.
